The table below is a guide to the acoustic performance of RJS Aluminium Windows & Doors. The Rw (Weighted Sound Reduction Index) ratings are derived from a combination of: - Generic test results on a series of windows & doors, compiled in February 2000 for the Australian Window Association.
- Base Acoustic ratings of flat glass from glass manufacturers.
- Air leakage tests conducted in accordance with AS 2047-1999 in NATA register laboratory No. 14093.
- Independent Acoustic tests conducted in accordance with AS 1191-1985 & as 1276-1999.
